This is the stove we've been waiting for! Superior in every way. Easy to use controls, accurate oven temperatures, safety features, convenient layout of burners and features. Love the double oven feature. I'd recommend it to others in a heartbeat.

Wrong racks

Unfortunately the range came with the wrong racks. GE refused to send another set of racks because they said it came with the correct ones. The rack is so tight it doesn't slide in and out. It literally has to stay in place all the time. When I contacted them they said they would send someone here but if the racks were the right ones I would have to pay for the service call. So very disappointing on GE for this. This appliance was not cheap. I have never baked anything in the stove because of this matter. The stove top is very good. Wish I could use the 2 ovens.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gas stoves have become so bulky and are cumbersome to clean, nothing fits in the dishwasher... I love the smooth look and surfaces, no grills, no knobs to clean :) As ppl have said in reviews the racks are "sticky", difficult to move around, I'd have been fine with stainless rather than coated racks. We'll see how they hold up but id stainless were available, I'd by them to change them out.
