Meh, it's alright. Sucks that it doesn't have another USB-A port, but I knew that going into the problem. There is an obvious refresh rate problem with the monitor to which I have this thing connected...the lines/letters on the screen sometimes look wiggly. I know that the monitor has worked correctly before but this is the second Dell docking station with which I have experienced the problem. Other than that, it's good.
It works but has an annoying loud fan that cycles on and off. It seems like this is a know problem and Dell are sending me a replacement, but its on backorder. Hopefully the new one is quieter!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
