I am still having a slight problem when booting the unit for it is not being recognized. I am slightly disappointed with the experience with this dock. I used one that was 1/4 of the cost of this dock and did not have any issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unfortunately, as of the writing of this review, I have not been able to get the dock to charge my Dell XPS-15 laptop without connecting the laptop's power brick. The quality and craftmenship is impressive.
Not a good product. Ordered two of the same type and one of them came in totally unresponsive!
