1st dock is bad, let see what the replacement is like...

Had it less than a month and the fan kicks up really load to cool things off. After a few times of it doing that, it shot out a notification that the fan was not working and I would have performance issues. A replacement is on the way but so far, not happy with a defective unit right from the start. This will be the 4th item I have purchased from Dell in the last 6 months that is defective from the start. Really considering other options now....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was sent these that were not compatible with the laptops i received. So far, this is an absolute failure. Perhaps they work wonderfully when paired with the correct laptop model.
