Issues with compatibility required 3 tickets with pro-support, replacement of the dock, replacement of the motherboard, and nearly a wipe of the computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The fact that the cord that connects the laptop to the station is on the left side of the station instead of the front or back clearly limits where you can place your laptop when it is connected to the station. Very poor location choice. That coupled with the ridiculously high price for this docking station make it a purchase I would not recommend.
