Overall good product. I had a difficult time with my laptop booting completely when connected to the DOC. I spent three days with support on this, and ended up troubleshooting this myself. I have a wired USB (2.0) keyboard that was causing a conflict that was not an issue when connected without the DOC.
The docking station works flawlessly with my Dell Latitude 5400. Simply plugged it in and it worked. No settings to set, no buttons to push. It just worked. The only negative was the length of time it took to receive it once ordered.
DO NOT CONNECT TO YOUR MONITOR. Other than that works great :)

Useful for my new Dell XPS 13 Laptop and connecting it to my screen. The biggest problem is you CANNOT connect it to a monitor. Spent all night trying to figure out why my monitor was flickering ON AND OFF...Turns out it was because of this Docking station. I thought it was the cords originally...Not the case. Plugged my screen directly into my laptop not the docking station and it worked perfectly. So DO NOT plug this into your screen it will turn on/off and give you a nightmare. Besides that to plug things into it is useful. Would recommend Dell fixing this as I've read of other people having the same problem and had I not read that I would be still troubleshooting a terrible problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!
