I bought my LG air conditioner about a month ago and had my handyman install it in my master bedroom. I love it and it is quiet and efficient. I bought my LG washer and dryer years ago as well as my refrigerator and could not be happier. It is the only brand I will buy.

Some people who reviewed this product cited common issues that may arise. These issues could've been addressed if such individual simply checked the LG website.
Having said that, this air conditioner works well for what I need. Almost too well. I actually have to shut the AC off sometimes because of how cold it gets. It's a solid product. I have no complaints with any noise it makes (virtually none), leakage, installation (it's intuitive, for the most part), or otherwise.
It is heavy, but considering the value it delivers, I don't mind. If this is being bought as a gift for a person who cannot lift heavy appliances, I would recommend having a person or two to help install the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well a bit noisy but we are used to it. The change filter light comes on second time in two months,no place to reset so I unplugged and it reset.. The second time this happened it stayed on when I unplugged unit..

After three months of use it stopped cooling. It blows out warm air and does not adjust to the temperature i set it at. I cleaned the filter with no change. do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for our master bedroom; saver mode cycles on and off to save power, so that’s annoying once the motor starts to get loud (this is our 3rd unit; each lasting 5-7yrs of daily use). Powerful enough that it also cools our hallway and most of a family room (approx 500 sq ft) One star off as packaging is insufficient and has a broken part. LG replaced under warranty at n/c.
