[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit to replace an old GE model that finally died. It is in my shore property subject to the sea air. It is cooling approx. 500 sq ft apartment and is holding its own. It is quiet, easy to control, with the right features. I expect this unit to work for the next 10 years, seasonal, properly maintained. I Ave faith in the LG product line. Time will tell if I am right.

I did not realize how bad my old AC unit was till it fell apart while we were trying to take it out. Good to go now!

We were happy to find that this unit is quieter than the Frigidaire unit we got last year in another room. Cools well and is a reasonable price. Hopefully it holds up long term, we shall see.
