Hello Dale,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review! We are sorry to hear that you are still having a hard time seeing a boosted signal in some areas. It is important to keep in mind that a weaker outside signal will result in a smaller coverage area. It is also important to note that if you area in an area with no signal, the booster will most likely not be able to help as it is unable to amplify a boosted signal. Something I suggest looking for is feedback as this causes the booster to lower its gain. You can check this by powering the booster off for a few seconds and then powering it back on. If you see a red light when the booster is powered on, this will confirm that there is feedback going into the system. The light will only shine red for a few seconds before going to a solid green so it is important to keep an eye on the light when it is first powered on. To fix the oscillation issue, you will just need to separate the antennas farther apart and reboot the system. If you are still unsatisfied with your booster's performance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at 866-294-1660 or email our online support at support@wilsonelectronics.com. They would be more than happy to help!
Thank you! weBoost Customer Service.

This product meets my expectation!

The product isn't meant to be your own cell tower but it sure as hell helps in most places. It allowed me to get service in many places that my friends couldn't during my recent trip through California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. This is an awesome product to have in your car for long drives and remote areas. The only issue I really ran into was the length of the antenna cord. I have a 2019 rav4 and ran the cord from the back of the roof on the left side, through the hatch gasket and followed the shortest possible route through my trim so I can place the main piece under the driver's seat. One more foot would have made a huge difference with this cord allowing me to place the external antenna in the right place without having to expose the wire inside the car. Just a minor issue that I think is more of a convenience for me rather than a major or significant issue. I also ran the cell booster off of a Jackery 500 and it didn't consume much power which was nice. I didn't want to leave my vehicle on in the campground and everything worked well. Overall the drive reach booster has been great and I'm sure it will continue to be great. I'm considering getting a stronger antenna with a longer cord if it's possible to switch them out.

Amazing Improvement

I have had the older model since 2017. When I heard that an improved model was available I couldn't resist. I can't believe the improvements to my reception. Installation is easy and customer service is readily available for technical questions. There are multiple antenna options. I opted for the NMO permanent mount.

Excellent booster

I work in the oilfield in rural Appalachia, this lets me make calls and look things up on the internet in places I have no business doing it. I've only found one place so far that it didn't give me at least some signal; and it was maybe the most backwoods West Virginia spot in a valley that I've ever been to.

I'm very pleased with how well it works. In the area where I live my cell is pretty mush useless without it.

Went from 1X or weak 3G signal at cabin to solid 4G

Originally, at our cabin that's about 5 miles from a cell tower, the signal inside ranged from no-signal to 1X. Outside it was at best a 2-bar 3G. We purchased the MultiRoom unit and installed the exterior antenna about 25 feet off of the ground on the TV antenna mast. When we hooked everything up we had solid 4G inside of the cabin. We've had multiple family members using it at the same time with their smart-phones and the speeds are great. The only caution I'd advise is to remember that the "5,000 square foot" coverage is likely based on ideal conditions. When you start putting walls in the way of the interior signal, the effective range will drop. We're able to cover all of our 600+ sq foot cabin even though the interior antenna is near one end of the cabin and there's a couple of walls in between it and the back bedroom at the other end of the cabin. So if you're picking which model to purchase, I'd say go larger than the ideal advertised estimated range. I think for a little extra money, you'll likely be happier with the end result.

Actually works, worth it - but a power hog

Used this extensively while crewing a 2000+ mile cross-USA run. Was able to get a signal virtually everywhere in CA, AZ, NM, TX, AR, MS, AL, GA, FL -- in many places where my phone was useless bc the signal was so faint. We're talking really remote areas - still on paved roads, but you could go all day and only see a couple other vehicles. The nearest teeny town might be 100+ miles away. If my phone couldn't get a signal, I'd switch to my wifi hotspot, then try MIMO antenna on hotspot, then try dual stubby magnetic WeBoost antennas on hotspot, OTR antenna (shorter version, with converter) on hotspot, then stubby on Drive Reacher booster, then the Drive Reach booster plus the OTR. Reason I did it this way is that we were getting power off an ArkPak w/ 100 Ah Battle Born LiFePO4 battery and a 500W Jackery power station that also had to power two Dometic fridges and a bunch of miscellaneous devices while recharging from the vehicle battery as I drove, and the Drive Reach consumes a ***LOT*** of power. Do the power math if this may be an issue for you and make sure you turn it off if you don't actually need it (which is easy, because there's a handy on/off switch). Super-pleased and would 100% buy it again. Did a similar trip before I bought it, lack of connectivity was a major problem and source of stress -- and on this MUCH longer trip, I never worried once about connectivity.
