I bought this back in june or july. It was hot. My old air conditioner just wasnt putting out enough cool air. This new LG air conditioner pumps out very cold air, it has several levels of coolness. I have a habit if falling asleep on my couch after work. If i wake up & its too cold, I just pick up the air conditioner Remote control. Best invention ever!!! Dont hesitate, buy this one!

Overall, it is a very good A/C for the price. It is runs quieter and it cools faster than other similarly priced 6000 btu units. There are a few negatives that should be improved: the plastic vents tend to rattle a lot unless they are positioned just right, and the cord is so short that I need to use an extension.
