[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My printhead on my previous HP printer died & they could send me a new HP9015. I agreed but a couple days later found it cheaper locally. Received new printer & when I put in new cartridges, it states one is defective & needs to be replaced. I’ve had HP printers for years, but this is very frustrating... Guess I have to go now & buy a cartridge.

Hi there,
First off, thanks so much for writing in about this. I'm so sorry to hear that the cartridges weren't registering after installing them! We look forward to making this right and again, my sincerest apologies for this inconvenience.
I’ve had an hP instant ink printer for about 3 years when it instantaneously started giving an error that my printer cartridge wasn’t compatible. Of course the cartridges were always supplied through HP, so that’s not correct. I have suspicions that this is a scheme.
Anyway, I bought the new printer because I was in a bind needing something at work immediately. This one came with fast shipping and all the parts. Setup wasn’t easy because my computer refused to run the driver for installation from the hp website. I had to be on the chat line with support for about an hour before getting it running. Annoying.
The printer is very, very large. I didn’t measure beforehand and I was really surprised that this one is about 50% larger than any other I’ve ever owned. It prints fine, just rocks the table while it prints. A lot. Paper jams very easily. The parts of the printer are very flimsy and I constantly feel I’m going to break it.
Overall I’m unsatisfied but it seems “they just don’t make things like they used to.”

Hi, Vicki.
I'm sorry to hear that your printer is yielding prints so slowly. It’s easy to understand why that would quickly become frustrating. We want to make sure that your printer is reliable for any urgent printing needs, so I’ll point you toward some resources I hope will help.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system: - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409 - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898
If the problem persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
When I found out my older hp printer was obsolete I was disappointed but when I found out how much BETTER the new hp printer is, I have to say I am DELIGHTED!! Every feature on the new hp has passed the production of my old hp, and I feel like it deserves a black & white checkered winners flag!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the OfficeJet Pro 9015 to use in my home in exchange for a review of the product. The printer/scanner came securely packaged. It was a quick and easy setup to start using immediately. I really like that it offers a two-sided copy function and the color printing is vibrant and clear. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand when wanting to use the multiple features the OfficeJet Pro has to offer. The digital screen is clear and very well lit. This truly is a very efficient machine for a home office or small business! An idea product for the all-in-one tasking of print, copy, scan and fax.
