HP was always a printer company and tended to provide much simpler and bug-free drivers. I love HP but hope they get back to their former self. Things have changed as they have opened up their printers to the internet and attempted to build a universal control center with HP Smart. It’s not so smart in cases where multiple locations with varied HP printers or in instances where multifunction like scanning is involved and mix of windows and Mac platforms. Even the HP advanced techs give up troubleshooting and go back to deleting and re-adding printers when faced with the recurring problems I’ve had since I bought this printer. My home office co-worker (wife/realtor) misses the much simpler days when our Officejet 8600 worked for more than 10 years with a very simple interface.
This printer is perfect for my small business office. I purchased this printer as a replacement for my HP OFFICEJET ALL-IN-ONE 6790 which passed away (smile). My new 9020e has 2 paper trays, updated slide in ink cartridges and a great digital display screen. The fax works perfectly and quietly. I think it will work out fine.
Output Tray only holds 35-50 sheets!!!! This is massively inconvenient for someone who prints 160 sheets at a time, almost bad enough to make me want to return this otherwise very nice printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Sally,
I'm so sorry to hear that the printer wasn't quite what you expected with regards to paper tray capacity.
If there's anything we can do to help make the most of your experience with the printer, please let us know. We would love to help, so you can get in touch anytime via your preferred method: hp.com/contactHP
The printhead and cartridges are faulty. After two tries with two printheads and two sets of leaking cartridges, I have sent the entire printer back to HP
