I just received this printer last week. Have not used it very much. However, I know that HP printers do not last long before breaking, which leaves me with unopened ink cartridges, which I buy ahead to prevent giving out when in the middle of a printing project. This last HP printer I purchased (9015e) is so cheaply made that I am afraid the paper tray is going to break in half each time I open it. HP should be ashamed to make a product this flimsy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that you've not had the experience you expected with the printer, and I'm sorry for any resulting inconvenience. We aim to provide a reliable experience with our printers and support, so I’ll try to offer some helpful suggestions.
First, to learn more about your printer and all its features, or for help solving problems, you can access a setup tutorial, user manuals, how-to documents, software updates and troubleshooting guides here: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-9010e-all-in-one-printer-series/38023430/model/37934143
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup, cartridge installation and connectivity. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If there's any specific way that we can help you, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
This is the worst printer I've ever owned. It's also the worst printer hp has ever made. The fax function is so poor it's not worth trying. It's slow. It can't send a fax from your computer. It is horribly slow when faxing, with many error messages and failed faxes. Most of the time it will not accept incoming faxes. I get error messages for printing on a regular basis. It is a constant struggle to use it for any function other than copying. It is not ecofriendly. You have to print every page to fax it. Total waste of paper and ink.
I am impressed with this product. It has really surpassed my expectations. My previous printers(Hp Envy 5640 and Epson).always had WIFI issue, Ink Leakage, bad paper handling etc. Despite of using a WIFI extender, they weren't able to catch the or detect the signal. I used three other devices including my computer but never faced this issue on these devices. I think HP has improved a lot since my last purchase(2015). All I would say is 'keep it up'

We recently replaced our aging printer with a Hewlett Packard OfficeJet Pro 9015e. The big difference in the quality of printing is amazing. We researched printers for a month or so before choosing this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less than a week and already sent back to HP.com. Horrible printer!

Hi there,
I'm terribly sorry that the printer didn't work for you! Despite this experience, I assure you that it’s always our intention to provide much more reliable printing. With that said, I regret that we fell short this time. It is unfortunate to hear that you had to return the printer, but I hope that the process for doing so was seamless.
If there's anything we can help you with down the road, please don't hesitate to contact us for support. We want to make sure that any future printing experiences you have with us are much more consistent. Should you need to, you can get in touch anytime via your preferred method: hp.com/contactHP
The printers being made today are so much "cheaper" than previous years. Without getting the extended warranty, as I've recently experienced when my "new" printer stopped working after less than two years, I don't expect to get the life expectancy with this recent purchase that I would hope. This printer doesn't even have a paper guide to hold the paper lengthwise firmly in the tray! Why is that? Very disappointing.
I ordered this printer 8-5-20. Today is 8-19-20. I still do not have the printer. HP claims 3-8 business days? Perhaps they should rephrase to 3-8 months! Yet another disappointing HP endeavor. I never have issue with products purchased.....but always have issues getting what I paid for, deliveries, complete orders, etc....add 1 more to the HP blows column!
