Like the dollar, printers get cheaper over time

Very tinny and noisy. No comparison to the 8600 that it replaced. The 8600 was a workhorse.
Used it for both personal & business, lasted 10 years. I'm retired now, won't be using the printer nearly as much. Hope it lasts 10 years. Doubt it.

My expectations were high and it's been a little disappointing in small ways. It wasn't clear how to adjust the paper tray for different size paper. And it's tricky to get the tray in and out of place. Also, I use a heavier paper that would get jammed. The tray that receives the finished print is not big enough. I think a large number of copies might fall off.
