Needed techie help to get my new printer properly connected with my Apple OS 12.6.3, but once set up, it prints beautifully. Copied a detailed ordinance map with true colors and even the tiny, tiny print was readable.

The Printer itself is awesome...the Instant Ink program is generally a good deal with one major flaw...the starter cartridges that come with the printer dont produce much...and it takes time for the first ink shipments to come...so your printer is dead in the water for days because you cant install store bought ink once you enroll.

I am mostly happy with the printer except for the scan part. The previous printer I had 8610 model would allow you to ask for a scan and then tell where or how you wanted it saved into. I had a PDF choice, but with this one it only scans into the computer as a jpeg. Not happy with this as I have found it very difficult to locate once I save it. Shouldn't be this way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1 - The power cord falls out at the slightest provocation. Happen when trying to plug in telephone and Ethernet connections.
2- Terms unexplained. For example "mobile FAX". What could this possibly mean?
3. - unable to remove old printer from HP account.
4 - Printer works with WI-FI. But prefer direct internet/router connection. Not clear what happens if I plug in Ethernet connection
