It has not gone well with this purchase. It took many calls to HP to get it set up and Fax did not work, and yesterday, paper jammed and it has stopped working! I would like to return it and replace it with a LASER printer, ASAP, please!

Hi, Dave.
I’m sorry that you’ve had such a dreadful time with your printer. It’s no surprise that you’re at your wit’s end, considering you went through a lengthy support process to get the printer set up, and now the device has registered a paper jam and stopped working. I want to help you out of this dilemma, so I’ll provide a resource and some information aimed at making that happen.
I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening, outline the options available to you and find best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number: - hp.com/plus-help
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
We keep getting a setup error and can’t print. Probably need to return

Hi there.
I’m sorry that your printer has not completed the setup process like it should. I can easily understand why getting an error message repeatedly without knowing why would be frustrating indeed. I want to help you out of this dilemma, so I’ll suggest a resource I hope will make that happen.

Prints poorly. Slow and loud. Tray doesn’t hold printed pages. Only redeeming aspect is lower ink cost. Not a good printer.

Hi, Terry.
I’m sorry that your printer has performed poorly. It’s easy to see why you’d be frustrated, considering you’ve endured slow printing, unexpected noise and a paper tray that has not done what it should. I want to help you remedy these issues. I hope the resources below guide you to that end.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed. Find that guide here: - support.hp.com/gb-en/document/ish_2817150-2408088-16
Regarding the output tray, I recommend you watch the video below, which demonstrates how to unpack and set up the printer. Just after the video reaches 4 minutes 30 seconds, it shows how to deploy the output tray so that prints will stack up after exiting the device. Watch that video here: - www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3aWR43RWn0&ab_channel=BestPrinters
Finally, I'll explain a factor that might be causing the noise you hear. While your printer is powered up, it makes sure that the nozzles are regularly cleared, which can be noisy, especially if the printer is on a hard surface. I suggest you try placing the printer on a padded surface to muffle the vibrations that occur.
If any problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best path to a resolution. The printer is very slow to start. At times it will take 30 minutes or more to start after turning on the power switch. We have resorted to leaving it on all of the time (sleep mode) so that it gets itself ready to print in just a few minutes.
Don't care for the keyboard. Backlighting is nice but the shiny keyboard blocks out the key letters so that we non touch-typists have to look straight down at the keyboard to see the letters, numbers, symbols, etc.
Very nice printer/scanner. Easy to set up and is accessible from any device on our network. HP Smart software is comprehensive and capable. Only quibble is that scanning from the machine's control panel does not allow configuration, i.e. JPG vs PDF, color vs BW, destination device, and other options. In contrast, we have an older Brother printer/scanner which allows us to configure and run a quick scan from the control panel without having to pull up and navigate a software interface on a device.
