Extremely disappointed with this printer. It is cheaply made in comparison to the Office Jet Pro it replaced. It holds 1/2 the paper, and "loses communication" with the print cartridges on a regular basis. The scan features are better, but the touch screen is so small I almost need to us a stylus to select quantities to print, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, John.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has caused you such inconvenience and frustration. I can wholly understand why the communication problem you describe plus the disappointing features would be a poor start to ownership indeed. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll offer a resource and some information designed to do just that.
I can’t tell from your review what’s causing the problem between print command and ink cartridge that you describe. I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the fastest path to a resolution. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number: - hp.com/plus-help
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
It seems to be built very cheaply, lots of flimsy plastic parts. Paper tray is hard to operate, don’t think this is made for light office use.

Have not been able to connect to printer. No wireless connection. Have yet to see a blinking wireless light after restarting it many times.

Once installed it works like a clock. Unfortunately, I spent 2 hours with tech support setting it up because the print head had jarred loose during shipping and it was tricky getting it back in place. Also, scanning was not easy to execute. Could be a LOT simpler and intuitive to operate IMO.
