The product is exactly what I was looking. My previous printer was an older HP model and was 12 years old. The printhead quit. Rather than replace the printhead, I decided to purchase a new printer. This one was the match that I wanted.
I found that the color copies were no where close to the original picture being copied, they were very muted. It did not do what I had hoped it would do, tho for documents it was excellent .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has rendered prints of poor quality. I can wholly understand why seeing colors that are muted compared with the original colors in images would be a big disappointment. I want to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll offer some suggestions I hope will accomplish that.
First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide on our support site to improving print quality, including faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text. Find that guide here: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06191659
If print quality does not improve, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
the paper tray on the 9015e and the 8025e new models blows chunks, and makes them not worthy to be in my home.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to learn that your printer has rendered prints so slowly. Considering you also had a difficult setup process and find the need for an HP account inconvenient, it’s no surprise you’re frustrated here. I want to help you remedy the speed problem, so I’ll provide some resources I hope will reach that goal.
First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; choose whichever of the following two links matches your operating system: - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/bud03409 - Mac OS: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01928898
Also, updating the firmware can often help improve print speed and other performance. You can find out how to do that here: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02919168
If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find a solution.
