Excellent quality and easy to use printer/copier/scanner. HP helped me get it set up in a few minutes and its works without a hitch! My old one was also an HP and only lasted 12 years!! Great products.
I loved my HP All In One 8600. But after years of service it couldn’t Auto feed properly. Bought new HP 9200 but disappointed that it’s built w more plastic, unable to print from my old Quicken program! Have to keep old 8600 to print checks but use new 9200 for all else!
I needed a printer that had the instant ink and that would print on cardstock because I am a crafter. This printer fits the bill and makes beautiful pictures. Happy me!
We bought this printer after reading reviews by Wirecutter etc. And glad we did. The ease of installation was a huge consideration and the print quality was exactly as reviewed; Excellent!
I've owned over 4 HP printers over the years for home use. This is the worse HP printer that I have purchased. The quality of the plastic is cheap and flimsy. Colors aren't vibrant. Slow to wake up. Requires frequent rebooting to recognize print jobs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that you’re not satisfied with your printer purchase. I can understand why substandard print quality, the frequent need to reset the device and difficulty getting it out of sleep mode would be a frustrating start to ownership. I want to help you get the printer working to your satisfaction, so I’ll offer some resources I hope will reach that end.
First, I recommend following the steps listed in this guide to improving print quality, including faded or streaked prints, color or black ink not printing properly or at all, and blurred or fuzzy text: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06191659
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including difficulty with wireless connectivity, which I suspect might be behind the need to reboot so often. You can find that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
Next, I suggest you follow this guide to sleep mode and how to deal with problems that arise when a printer is in sleep mode: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04183583
If any problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
After buying hp models that were a a bit less expensive, we upgraded to this model. It is well worth the expense. The wireless printer ie easy to operate.
