I have used my new printer only once so far— to print 12 pages on card stock. I was able to select the option for special paper. It printed beautifully— no jams—everything went very smoothly. I am impressed with my new HP 9015e. It replaces my HP 1800 which I literally wore out over many years with home printing of booklets, double sided documents, artwork, and signage. I think HP 9015e and I will get along just fine. He’s smarter than 1800, and I hope he’s just as loyal. Thanks to all who came up with another good product.
This is my 3rd OfficeJet. I love the color photo print quality. I hang a lot of my artistic 8x10 photos. However, set us is different now with the OfficeJet Pro 9015e. You must download the HP setup app. Getting the app installed & getting the new printer to communicate with my local WiFi did not go smoothly. Once I got everything working, test prints of photos & documents were great. Now the printer CONSTANTLY GOES OFFLINE WHEN NOT IN USE. Okay, but the power button doesn't bring it back on-line. So I have to unplug & plug in the printer, then it prints fine. And, the printer cartridge or scanner tracks back & forth randomly any hour of the day & night. Since the office is next to our bedroom, this paranormal activity wakes us up. So judge for yourself if this warrants 4 stars.
The printer automatically prints both sides of the paper on its own. It is fast, it hasn’t jammed yet, the print is very sharp and the touch pad display is clear and has easy to follow instructions. I did have problems setting it up as it defaults to the set up fir a phone or tablet rather than a desktop or laptop. Once I figured that out, it was a very simple installation.
Unpacking very easy. Setup was easy. Alignment took awhile however it worked fine. I have not put into service yet. Thinking I wish had bought the 9025 unit that offered the single pass through scan feature. Would be better if the top plattent cover would close slowly. You have to hold onto it or it will slam shut.
I had to replace my other printer after receiving A bad ink cartridge from insta A ink After inserting the C cartridge I started to get bad printing They sent me A Y cartridge And that did not help I tried all the fixes built into the printer Had to replace it Not sure if I like the HP Smart app I am use to the old ones being on home screen
Printer works great out of the box. The only problem I had is the scanner wouldn't pick up the paper for 2-sided scanning and the copier had the same problem. Once I called HP support I got great help, I had to clean the rollers. I was skeptical that cleaning rollers on a new printer would help, but it did the trick.
