I’m sorry you’re not satisfied with your printer. While I understand that you find the need for a Wi-Fi connection and an HP account inconvenient, my best guess as to what you mean by “show to print and scan” is that the device has performed slowly when printing and scanning. If that’s the case, I hope the resources I’ve listed below help you remedy those issues.

First, I recommend that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed. Find that guide here:

Also, updating the firmware can often help improve print and scan speed as well as other performance. You can find out how to do that here:

I also suggest that you visit a page on our support site that has various diagnostic tools, including a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common scanning as well as printing issues. Visit that page here:

If speed does not adequately improve – or if you need help with another issue – I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action.
