I've had this for a few weeks. Bought it for my home office. I have a few Apple computers and the usual array of phones and devices. Getting set up was slightly challenging as some of the documentation was different than described, and I had just moved into our new home and the wifi was poor. Fortunately I didn't need to print to the machine at first. There was also an issue with the mobile app initially, I don't recall exactly as it's been a few weeks. However, a few tries and cups of coffee and we're off and running. I've been able to print from everything. Print quality is good. Scanner is fine. I haven't tried to print anything in fine detail or any photos yet. Just some copies, and a few presentations. I read that this can be used for faxing as well, I guess like most MFC, however I am not sure if I will ever need that feature.
Not the quality of our last All in One. Doesn’t scan multiple pages from the top tray. Not as well made. Returned a first one because the print cartridge door wouldn’t close.
I had to call to get it to print in a reasonable time. I had to call to get the fax to work. I had to call to get the scanner to work. To the tune of over three hours. Now it's working fine but I shouldn't have had to call even once. . For my purposes, it's okay. My last printer was great so this one is disappointing.
This is a color printer, but I am unable to get this function to work, it will only print in black and white. I tried the HP website troubleshoot the issue without success. I would not recommend this printer.

Hi there.
I’m sorry that your new printer has not printed color, and that you’ve found no success after following the HP troubleshooting guides. It’s no surprise that you’re trepidatious about this model, considering what you’ve endured. I want to help you resolve the issue, so I’ll make some suggestions that I hope will accomplish that goal.
I can’t tell from your review why the printer has not printed in color despite your remedial efforts, so I recommend that you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number: - hp.com/plus-help
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: - support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
I really like this printer except for the two minor complaints mentioned in my title. I have a single-function Brothers scanner that scans documents much more quickly than this printer, but the scanning speed is not a huge problem for me and I like having a multi-function printer. I’ve always bought HP printers and have generally been happy with them. I especially like the InstaInk option that relieves me of having to monitor my ink usage and worry about running out. I also like the fact that, on this printer (unlike my old HP printer) the access door to the ink cartridges is on the front of the printer, since I have limited space to open the top. Overall, this printer is reasonably priced and works very well. It ranks the highest among multi-function inkjet printers on Wirecutter (New York Times product review column).
