I have been using HP printers for over 25 years. Aside from shorter than expected service life and expensive ink I have had no other complaints. Just when you think cheap can't cheaper the 9100 comes along. Touch screen is too small for people with real hands. The overall feel is much lower quality than 8600 and 8700. This unit has been in service for about two months and so far the print quality is good. What I really can't understand is why every time HP introduces a new model they change the ink. This leaves us with unused ink from previous failed models. Hopping HP brings back the quality of the older units.
Nice printer, good quality printing in color and black ink, very fast, easy set-up to wireless but not so much as a scanner, I am having some difficulties figuring out how to set that up.
Will only print/scan 40% of the time, frustrating!

This is the 3rd HP printer we have purchased in the last 1-2 years. Trying to get the printers to print and scan and continue doing so is almost impossible. One of the printers we were finally able to contact HP, it was under warranty, but we were sent a REFURBISHED printer and it leaves a line down the middle just like the original BRAND NEW printer! With the printer I have at my home office, there was a phone number available I could call and the representative walked me thru and that printer is finally working correctly. The two printers in our main office will only scan/print 40% of the time. We have the HP App installed, we have tried using a USB cable, we have tried calling phone numbers for HP only to get the run around with your recorded system and can never get to a live person. Your online chat system gives us answers to every other question except ours. The system sends a code to your phone or email, but then the form won't allow you to fill it out. We need a live person to talk to. We will be looking at other brands for future printers, this has been a horrible experience!
This printer does all I expected it do printing, scanning, and copying. You can also fax documents. The set up was fairly easy, but the directions were somewhat lacking and just contained pictures. If the directions were better written I would have given it 5 stars. Overall I have been pleased with this product and it replaced an HP printer that was over 10 years old. I have only had it few weeks and I’m still learning about all the features it has. I like the fact that I can print pictures directly from my Smart Phone without having to hook up a cable.
The 9015e printer did a good job printing colored pictures for Xmas Cards, with one big exception. All white portions, like snow, printed with a light yellow tint. When I color adjusted the picture it helped removing the yellow tint somewhat, but washed out the other colors. Other than that the printer worked fine.
