The paper tray on the Officejet 9015 is a bad joke. I am replacing an Officeject 8600 that had a nice paper tray with a slider mechanism that snugged against the paper and held it in place. The 9015 does not have this and the paper slides out of place. Also the mechanism that hold the printed pages is not long enough and paper ends up on the floor. I will be returning the Officejet 9015 ASAP.
Had the Officejet pro8600. Great printer. Fast, clear, decent on ink. Until decided it didn't like one cartridge. After researching, it seemed the only one somewhat comparable is the 9015. HORRIBLE. It's actually much louder, it's ridiculously slower, the paper seems to be struggling to come out. I am considering sending it back it's so pathetic. Find another printer. HP may have lost a loyal customer with this one.
Terrific and versatile printer. Not as loud as I expected, and I have it within arm's reach of my PC. Attractive, too, in the off-white. I can't stand the depressing black that is the norm. Very easy to set up for someone 65 plus. And the HP website most helpful -- except forget getting live help. Not necessary anyway. Best thing to do is go on the site and download the printer's Instruction Manual. Then you have access to any and all printer info. HP was very tolerant of my relative lack of tekkie savy -- they gracefully allowed me to return two printers to them before figuring out the right one. Bravo, HP!
Works nicely for our small office. Simple to operate. One 9015e we have had for a year, and now we have replaced an 8600 Officejet with this model. Copy in black & white and color is very good, better than the previous 8600 series. Speed is about right. Was easy to setup and we have had zero issues, which is why we purchased another one. We highly recommend this model.
My old printer quit working, so I had to buy a new one. This printer does not need to be connected to the computer by a cable (I didn't realize that at the time of purchase), one less cord hanging around! I hate that you don't get instruction manuals any more when you purchase something new, but, I am learning the new features of the printer. I have never paid this much for a printer before, hopefully it will be worth it. So far - So good!
It’s a nice printer. I have had a little problem scanning to a USB drive and it is loud when it prints. I also had a problem emailing a document to print. Hopefully I can get these bugs fixed.
I bought this printer to primarily print on different weights of cardstock for crafting hobbies. It works perfectly with everything I've thrown at it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] However signs of a bad installation lurk. I am not sure if what I’ve done is correct but, I am sure of an installation neither easy nor successful
