I thought it was easy to set up, but I'm having difficulty with it operating correctly. After I print a document the FAX will not work. When I FAX something then it won't print. It will not shut down with the button. I have to unplug it. I hope to figure out how to resolve this issue.
This printer replaced my HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 as result of upgrading my internet service to 5G. The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e display functions are very limited. With to old HP 8610 all functions could be controled and viewed on the printer's display screen. This worked out great for our home as it supported an adjacent desktop computer located in the downstairs family room and laptops mainly used upstairs. With the HP 9015e most functions are controlled only on the computer that the print job was requested.
This was a poor printer choice for our two story home. Getting some extra stair step exercise when there is a print problem. Select print command from an upstairs laptop and go downstairs expecting to retrive print product, oops nothing there. Run upstairs to check the print queue. Take your guess at what was wrong, select print command and head back downstairs. Hopefully your print job was successful. If not, back upstairs and guess again or disconnect any peripherals, i.e. power cord, multiport, etc. Don't forget to take the wireless mouse, because, you don't need the aggravation of having to use the touch pad.
Nice compact printer with full functions.. My only complaint is that the ink cartridge doesn’t “click” into place when installing, like the videos show., so it’s difficult to know if they are properly installed.
Holds less paper than my last HP and it uses ink faster even though I have the same settings. Also, I don't appreciate that they sold 6 months of "free" ink yet I would have to give them banking/card information and without that I don't get the "free" ink.
