This Office Jet Pro 9015 replaced a HP printer that I had for several years. So far, I am pleased with the operation of the printer which I use only occasionally. Set up was fairly easy except when I was loading the ink cartridges. The cartridges kept ejecting. I unplugged and re plugged the printer and everything was fine.
Very easy to set up an connect to the instant ink program. I love everything about it! Thanks for your recommendation. It's very similar to the one I had. You guys are awesome. You even led me through trying to fix my old printer over the phone even though the warranty had expired. I won't buy a printer from anyone else but you.
Bought this printer to replace our HP 8710. It looks better and is more compact. However, the output tray is too short. When things have printed, they dont lay flat- they have to curve up the flap and that is bothersome. Tried to scan a multi-page document from the feeder and every single time it resulted in an error and I had to start over. Would get about 6 pages in and it would freeze up on me. We have used HP all-in-one machines for years, and this has been the worst one we have owned. Very disappointing.
Arrived earlier than expected and brand new. Securely packaged with no package damage. Requires the usual software download and install. Setup and install is 100% automated so it took a while to discover software download did not happen. Manual download was simple and easy. Printer is noisy but fast and produces excellent quality. Very pleased overall.
Without the help of HP support, I could not have set up the the all-in-one features. I still don't know how this interacts with my Note 5. I have had issues with scanning. Also the outgoing paper tray is far too short (this is a major design flaw that needs corrected at once.
Printer functions properly except one feature - ability to initiate (start) a scan to computer from the printer itself. (Note: scan to computer initiated (Started) from the computer does work) After 5 hours of troubleshooting HP customer service found out "...this is a known problem with this model - we're working on it". Since computer and printer are on different floors this is a desired feature which we hope will be fixed promptly!
