After four long sessions with support, the support person I talked to to a sppott person on September 9, she reviewed all the sessions I had with support and determined that the printer is defective. My printer is being replaced. I hope this on works. This is my 3rd 3 in one Officejet and first time I have had this problem. I have a HP Laser printer that UI have had for 25 years and it works perfectly. I jus have to replace the in k every now and then.
I bought this product a month ago and love the print quality. My only complaint so far is the lid that holds the paper when it comes out is too short. My paper falls on the ground when you are printing a large number of pages.
HP should not streamline features that are offered on less expensive models. No automatic paper catch and no dual photo paper drawer. Otherwise, a solid printer with an easy setup and home office friendly.
I love the improved print quality but am disappointed that the two sided print on thick paper from the alternate tray feature does not work. After going through the alignment procedure three times it still does not properly align the two sides.
I really haven't had the time to play with my printer yet. I am extremely happy with how easy it was to set up. I will update my review when I am experienced enough to do so.
