It is bulky and ugly looking. It makes lots of noises when it prints. The platform where the printed paper comes out on, cannot be lifted to add more paper. I have to pull out the paper tray to add paper. It does print very well, but I miss my old printer.
Used an OfficeJet Pro 8620 for a few years and found it to be a workhorse. Had a service issue and so bought the 9015e as a replacement. Disappointed in the quality of construction and the small on- board user screen. I scan all day, and found the design makes it more difficult to remove the scanned pages when the scan was complete. Am returning the product and seeking a refurbished 8620.
Very cheaply made, it is all plastic. It is noisy. The quality of printing is ok. Will look at other makes of printers in future
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry you’re generally unsatisfied with the quality of your printer and are dealing with an unexpected level of noise. It’s clear that no one has this in mind when buying a new device. I want to help you get the most from the device and remedy the noise issue, so I’ll offer what I hope are some helpful resources and suggestions.
First, to learn more about your printer and all its features, or for help solving problems, you can access user manuals, how-to documents, troubleshooting guides and software updates on our support site here: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/37934143
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including cartridge installation, print quality and connectivity. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
Next, I'll explain a factor that might be causing the noise you hear. While your printer is powered up, it makes sure that the nozzles are regularly cleared, which can be noisy, especially if the printer is on a hard surface. I suggest you try placing the printer on a padded surface to muffle the vibrations that occur.
If the noise persists – or you need assistance with anything else – I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action.
