Wireless setup instructions are not very good.

I just bought this printer and spent too much time trying to set up the wireless network. Poor instructions, they required an app to download only to have less information about the set up. It should be made easy to set up for non technical users.

Overall I am pleased with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer, even though I have not used (or need) all of functions. My one disappointment is the reception of the printed pages. In the other HP printers I have used, the printed page exits the printer in "flat-space" - the tray being longer than the page itself. In the 9015 the printed page is in "curved space", where the end of the page is beyond the tray length. This design causes the pages to become "random" - some even falling to the floor on occasion. I think this design was made by someone who does not print more than 10 pages.

Not off to a great start

Had great difficulty loading the ink. Kept getting an error message that some or all of the ink cartridges were defective. Cartridges kept popping out of the compartment like the spring mechanism was too tight to allow the cartridge to sit in place properly. Finally after man tries, they side into place property but the print Cartridge sometimes makes an
agonizing noise when it moves back and forth. I think something is wrong with the machine. Had two paper jams already. Also very odd. Wondering. Did I get a lemon?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s quite easy to understand why difficulty loading ink cartridges and then the print carriage making a terrible noise would make you question the printer’s viability. With that in mind, I’ll offer some suggestions I hope will help.

I can’t tell what’s behind these issues, but the noise does concern me and I believe it deserves further investigation. I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
