Well, after years of faithful service my OfficeJet Pro 8600 Series gave up the ghost even after cleaning the print heads. Only after continued difficulty in trying to get my print jobs done did I begin the research for a replacement HP product and settled on the OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer and I am very happy with the ease of set up and performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the printer a few months ago to replace a Office Jet Pro L7800. While the printer is faster than the previous printer, there are a couple of things that I do not like. For one, the paper is hard to load and it does not hold as much paper as the previous printer so I have to load it more. I mean hard because you have to remove the receiving tray and some times it is difficult to get it back in place. Also, I don't like that the paper does not lay flat on the receiving tray. I also do not like to be charged for prints and do not want ink automatically sent when I reach a certain number of prints. My printing is not consistent. During the summer months, I print a lot more that during the winter months. After the 4 month trial I will be canceling instant ink.
I will admit it was easy to install and set up.
This has nothing to do with the review but WHY DO I NEED TO GIVE YOU A NICKNAME? Why does that add any value to the review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] loved our old one which lasted 7 years then gave up. This is the replacement and so far it's as advertised. One issue is that it's hard to set the paper tray so that it snugs 8.5 x 11 paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sure the printer will be fine. A few things on this model that can be improved:
- Design to not need the color ink cartridges to be inserted in order to print (like the photo printers).
- Window is way too small and hard to get fingers on the icons.
- To copy, the default setting should be black and you touch to change to color. This way, you always use some color when you don't need to. OR, at least give us the option to set it as black and touch for color.
- As in my old 8620 printer, should only take one touch on faxing to bring up the history so you can quickly touch an often used phone # to fax again.

My daughter (15) set it up while I was away. I came home and everything worked just dandy. Very happy. HP is the only brand of printer I will buy!
