I have not tried printing photos yet but the text printing is very clear. We subscribed to the automatic ink refill and that seems like it will be convenient and hopefully less expensive

It is just as noisy as my last printer, but it produces clean, quick copies. Scanning worked well after I figured out how to connect to a Microsoft computers. My husband’s Apple computer connected with ease.
