Hi there.
I’m sorry to learn that you’re not satisfied with your printer purchase. Your review is brief, and I can’t tell whether you’ve encountered any specific difficulty, but I can certainly understand why you’d be disappointed if your two previous HP printers seem to be of better general quality. Nonetheless, I want to help you get the most from this device, so I’ll offer what I hope are some helpful suggestions.
First, to learn more about your printer and all its features, or for help solving problems, you can access user manuals, how-to documents, software updates and troubleshooting guides here: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/37934143
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup, cartridge installation, print quality and connectivity. There you’ll also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
You can learn more about the benefits of HP+ printers by following this link: - www.hp.com/plus
If you need assistance with anything, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
Love the duplex scanning and printing feature - an added plus! We do feel you need to be careful with when changing out paper and envelopes as the tray is lighter weight than previous models. Paper jams are a rare but a breeze to access!
I want to rate this 3-1/2 but can’t do that. I just bought this printer to replace an AIO 8610 which was a real workhorse for more than 6 years. This AIO 9015e is the closest to it. The features are good. My concern is how well it will perform over time. The product is definitely less sturdy. Putting in cartridges didn’t feel secure and kept popping out. The trays and other parts are thinner and flimsier. Obviously HP is cutting corners. As for printing, the quality is good and does 2sided ok. Pretty fast. I do a lot of scanning which has a lot of features. Would I recommend? Hum? Maybe but definitely would tell them of my concerns. I also hate that they try to get you to sign up for auto ink. I don’t do that much printing that I would need this. The size is compact so fits more easily into my space. want to like this printer. I bought it because of good reviews but user reviews showed the problems. I wanted to stay with HP from past performances. Had my first HP b/w and color deskjet that lasted 10+ years without one problem. Doubt printers today will do this. Wish that the scan function would continue when ink cartridge needs to replace. When this happens...nothing works until you replace cartridge..even if it’s just one cartridge. My first printer I could still do b/w even if color was out. No more. And price of printer is so much higher than earlier ones, with less quality. Oh well.
I tend to keep printers/scanners/faxes a long time. I had kept my other HP longer than most and so I bought this HP all in one printer to replace the long owned HP printer.
I haven't gotten used to all of the features of this machine yet.
