[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using HP printers exclusively, since my first purchase of a DESKJET 400 back in 1993. HP seems to be ahead of the curve in bundling features that are important and functional to the user. The interface is logical for new users. The only negative item is not specific to this printer but to HP printer installs in general. As far bank as I can remember the HP install software has been battling Windows installation software since the late 1990's. Both systems want to control the installation process which has resulted in driver problems and sometimes registry problems, especially when doing updates.
HP your getting better but you still need to play nicer with Windows :)

Unsettling experience.

When I followed the 5 step procedure that came with my office jet pro 9010 series printer and went to hp123.com for software, I was captured by a scammer. My experience was dreadful. I could have lost control of my bank account. Scary and it was your set of instructions that led me there. I'm lucky I had just read a senior scamming article in AARP.
I have owned many HP printers over the years, and this one, like the previous models has an excellent print quality. Unfortunately, I have to turn off/turn on the printer each time I wish to print. Each time I try to print before cycling the off/on button, I get a "Printer Off-line" message. Very frustrating.
