I have been running my own accountancy business from home for the last 18 years and have had several printers throughout that time.
For the last year I have been using a HP 8014 so I was looking forwards to seeing how the two printers compared.
The printer came safely boxed with all of the instructions on top so they were easily accessible before taking the printer out. It feels substantial and sturdy but fits nicely on the same shelf that my smaller printers have .
I already had the smart app installed and an instant ink subscription and followed the instructions for installing the printer onto both the app any my account. The only caveat I have is, in the same position as me, to not change your mind regarding what you intend to do with the old printer as changing the status through the app and account is an ongoing matter.
Whilst the looks of the printer are not much different to my previous one it is slightly bigger. I have also found it to be a little noisier but feel that this is an acceptable trade off against the extra speed and functions.
The print is crisp and clear and the printer is noticeably faster than my previous one.
For a small home office I would definitely recommend this printer.

Early days as yet, but after a week of light home use I am pleasantly surprised with the results. Prints fast and efficient (I would say as good as the laser printers in work) noise levels are on par with most printers out there and duplex (double sided) printing is nice to have at home. The top loading for copying and scanning is also very convenient. I have printed a copy of my own photo on cheap A4 photo paper (uploaded as 2nd photo) as a comparison for you to view, I am very pleased with the result.As you can see from my photos it fits nicely into my set-up and has a pleasing appearance and look.
The biggest asset to all this is the HP Instant Ink subscription plan. In the past I have been caught wanting or needing Ink to finish a project or task too many times. With this plan you can choose a usage that's a very cost effective monthly outlay and have surplus ink at your side all the time, love this.
Overall I would definitely recommend this printer as great value for money.

HP printers to me are incredibly reliable, top of the range printers and the main reason for purchasing this printer is the seamless connectivity to my Macbook. Printer was safely boxed with easy to follow instructions. After setting up and connecting to the internet, the printer checked for firmware updates and installed them automatically. Setup was very simple- took me about 5 minutes to get everything set up. There is also a supporting HP smartapp for smartphones which is great as it can connect and allow printing directly from the app, plus plus has a ton of cool features! Print quality is absolutely beautiful- great graphics and good image quality. It comes with 6 months of HP Instant ink which is an amazing feature! Given how expensive ink is this is a huge money saving opportunity! Cost to run this HP printer is minimal. In terms of desk space it is a little large for a standard desk however for me it fit perfectly and feels incredibly well-built and sturdy ! It isn't too noisy either. I did notice that the printing speed is slightly slower than I would have expected but i suppose this is offset by the build and print quality!

This printer is quite a nice size for using in the home. It doesn’t take up too much space and the paper tray doesn’t sit out too far and take up more room.
The always connected features are brilliant and double sided scanning and printing is perfect for my needs. Print quality seems pretty decent too.
What’s not to like?!!

I've upgraded from an older printer and the speed at which this HP printer can print is just astounding. I also tried printing some thicker card for craft items and they came out great, the colours look fantastic.
The only slight issue I had was installing the ink cartridges, but I think now that I know how it all works it'll be really easy for me to install them next time!

I was concerned with the other reviews regarding setup, but I went ahead with the purchase anyway due to the functions. I needed duplex printing and scanning which this has!
Setup took less than 30 minutes and that included unboxing and physical setup. I’m already an instant ink customer. The only thing I disliked about the whole process was my old HP printer now has ink cartridges that I can’t use once I remove that ink subscription.
I needed a printer that was able to handle my small business needs as well as work AirPrint for other family members as well as school printing for kids.. If you are looking for a super quiet printer, this is not it.

I had my last printer for several years and was dismayed when it finally kicked the bucket. I found myself overwhelmed by the choices as I browsed the internet for a replacement. To make matters worse, I had forgotten how expensive a good printer could be. I needed a printer with scanning capabilities - double sided, automatic loading. I also wanted one which inexpensive ink replacements and good color print quality. Also important was the aesthetics! Functionality is first but if I have to look at it everyday I also want it to be cute! My last printer was black, and I wanted another small, understated unit. Apparently, that was asking too much as my research continued to bring up all white printers - eye sore! I didn't exactly jump for joy when I came across this colour model. I bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did. The printer is smaller than I imagined and it looks great. It has great print quality and fast scanning capabilities. It cost more than I wanted to pay initially, but I am very happy with my purchase and would buy this printer again!

Received the HP printer in no time with next day delivery, opening the printer was a breeze, thought was definitely taken with the easy pull out packaging sleeve which came with handles. Setting up the printer with the app really worked out to be so much easier than having to connect my laptop and run the programs/drivers this truly saved me a lot of time. The HP printer is larger than expected but do note that it does have 2 paper tray slots and also a paper scan feeder on top which when compared to larger models isn’t that bad. The HP printer has a somewhat short cable to power it but I guess that is a personal downfall as the location of my printer is a little further away from a power point. The printer comes with a full set of ink which so fair has proven to last a fair bit. The printer setup with connecting to the HP instant ink service is just a click away when progressing through the setup page. The print quality of images is truly amazing ( quality of paper does play a huge part) print speed for normal daily documents is also fast and cannot complain about it. When printing full pictures the printer does take a little longer as it lets the previous line ink dry before progressing further but still it’s pretty decent speed, double sided printing Also takes a tad longer as the paper is recalled back in and then prints again. Scanning works a treat, Great that it can handle multiple pages. The printer is recommended to stay powered on to ensure HP services run efficiently, I did accidentally turn the switch off and I was shown a warning message to turn of the printer properly ( lesson learnt). Printer noise is acceptable, I have it set to normal sound mode, there are other sound options present but didn’t check them out as it didn’t really matter to me. I am sceptical how long the ink will last me as I did have a HP all in one estation printer a long time ago and although I didn’t use as much of the ink it would finish pretty quick. My current usage has proven pretty decent and bonus is hoping the HP instant ink plan works a treat. Look forward to printing a lot more family pictures.
