I bought this printer a week or two ago. I was amazed at the features it has. It was very easy to set up. It is actually a plug and play from the start. The first All-in-One Printer that needs very little setup unless you want the customization from removing it from the box. First All-in-One Printer that I used that can copy, fax, scan duplex documents with just the touch of a button. It's very compact for the functions that it can perform. Nice price too, a nice purchase for the small business. Kudos HP.
Everything works well on this new Office Jet Pro 9025 All-In-One Printer. Quality of printing is just OK . Not incredibly sharp or vivid. Online printer interface not the greatest. Double sided printing- machine is quite noisy .
Why does the printer have downloads for a 9020 when it is a 9025? I purchased this product a week ago and I have had difficulty setting it up with computer and continue to have difficulty in features offered. Why is Not easy to figure out. Normally I love HP and would recommend. I would not recommend this particular product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has not performed like it should in terms of setup and installation, and that the model number on the software downloads does not exactly match the one on your unit. I can understand why that would be unsettling, so I’ll offer some information and resources that I hope will help.
First, the number discrepancy could be because the software in question is for all printers in the 9020 lineup, including yours. Regardless, the fact that you’ve had setup difficulty obviously overrides that.
You can find troubleshooting guides, video tutorials (including one on setup), user manuals and how-to documents for your printer here: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-9020-all-in-one-printer-series/23918456/model/23918457
Because I can’t tell what specific issues you face or why your printer won’t connect, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
After having a 4650 series printer for years and having ongoing, continous
Had a 4650 model printer that gave continuous problems. It was replaced several times under warranty. Got disgusted with it and purchased the 9020 series during one of the troubleshooting calls on the 4650. Did not have the 9020 series for a full 3 weeks before it started giving problems. Troubleshooting by company said it needed replacing. Now I'm in the position of giving up a brand new machine for a refurbished machine. Also, was assured the remaining warranty that had been on the 4650 (almost a full year) would be transferred over to this machine. Discovered during my call with the company the warranty had not been transferred over. I'm also on the Instant Ink program and every time I'm sent a new printer, I get no starter ink to go with it and have to work it out with Instant Ink to get my supply back up. Normally about a one week ordeal to get things straightened out there. I feel as if I'm caught right back in the same mess I was having with the 4650 series and I have no intention of putting myself through that frustration factor again. I hope for HP's sake they get it right and do it quick. I have no intention of going through the mess I went through with the 4650. I am not happy with HP at this time and have no qualms letting it be known.
