Terrible got a new print and the blue cartridge won’t align. Hopefully they will send another one quick. My next print will definitely not be a HP. This is my 3rd one in three years. Not reliable and they break down. Not made to last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because my other HP printer finally bit the dust and I must say I’m very disappointed in this printer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there.
I’m sorry to learn that your printer’s noise level is so high and that you’re generally disappointed with it. I can’t tell from your review what other issues you’ve encountered besides noise, but I’ll offer some resources that I hope will help you get the most from it and also mitigate the noise.
First, for help solving problems or to learn more about your printer and all its features, on our support site you can find user manuals, troubleshooting guides, how-to documents and software updates. Do that by following this link: - support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-9020e-all-in-one-printer-series/38023431/model/37934158
You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including cartridge installation and connectivity. There you can also find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. You can find the page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
For specific input on the noise level, or if you need further assistance with anything else, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
Printer arrived in a timely manner. Well-packaged. Unfortunately, the print head would not retain the ink cartridges. A replacement print head has been ordered, but will take up to 2 weeks to arrive with no guarantee that the is the definitive problem. We have had over a dozen OfficeJets over the years - after this set of problems - never again.
I bought this machine over a month ago and I still cannot print from my MAC, only from my iPhone. Whenever I print from my MAC, it prints 40-50 pages of gobbly gook. Will call HP next week to try and resolve this issue.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a previous HP all-in-one and we wanted one that had faster scanning, which this does in spades (and better image quality, too). My issue with this printer is HP’s plethora of set-up and diagnostic platforms. The app and web interfaces don’t seem to recognize what I’ve done. Frankly you can turn the thing on and it sets itself up, Wi-Fi network included, but should you encounter a question (e.g. how do I configure for 4x6 photo printing) you will go down a rabbit hole of instructions. The app doesn’t seem to play well with Windows 10 set-up, and being a nerd doesn’t help as both seem to set up different default printer names. Printing from my phone is permanently stuck in 4x6 mode now so that’s an issue, too. May be a case of knowing enough to mess up but not enough to understand what’s happening under the hood. Ah well.
This is the second 9020 series printer I've purchased, the other is still working at another location. This is a neat and versatile machine which I've enjoyed working with. So far I've had no major problems with either machine and look forward to working with it for a long time to come.
