the paper tray is very poor quality. It does not slide in and out easily and I fear it will break w/ the use we give the copier (just home use)

This printer uses a lot of ink cleaning print heads. I received this printer 2 months ago and already emptied first said of ink cartridges. Printed less than 15 pages. Every time I use the printer it runs a print head cleaning and apparently is using a lot of ink. This is not a good printer for occasional printing. And Replacement cartridges are very coarsely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excited to Get Printing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting awhile to invest in a new printer. As a 2nd grade teacher, you can never have enough color prints of anything. I am constantly using the printer to make centers and other learning tools for the kiddos. I was very impressed with the ease of setting up the printer. After several days of not being able to find time to sit down and take it out of the box, when I did, I realized it didn`t take very long at all and was so simple. The connection to HP Connect will make everything easier, and I am looking forward to being able to print to the printer from anywhere. The copies and prints are very clear, and the printer takes up no room on my desk. This printer will make summer planning more fun and easy...right? :)

This is the worst printer I have ever bought. The WiFi connectivity is unstable and the printer (when it actually connects to WiFi) hangs with a "printing" message when the job has finished so no other jobs can run

I suggest you visit the Instant Ink sign-up page again – if that, in fact, is where you saw the list – and look again. There are two sets of OfficeJet printers on the list. One is the OfficeJet Pro series, like yours, while the other is just OfficeJet, with no “Pro” as part of the series name. On the list of printers, the OfficeJet group appears before OfficeJet Pro. I admit it’s a little confusing – I missed it myself at first when I went to investigate.
