Worst Scanning features ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased several HP All-In-One printers over the years, however this one (HP Officejet Pro 8025) is NOT a Pro by any means. I scan a lot of photos for ancestry work. The scanner option on this printer does NOT allow for cropping when scanning. This means I have to scan each and every photo no matter what the size separately. This will make my work extremely more time consuming and difficult. I used to be able to scan several photos at a time crop each out individually and save them with there own file name. This printer only allows us to scan individual photos or if I scan several at a time they will all end up being on one page, then a lengthy process of separating them and renaming each with another file name. This has turned back progress on the scanning function on the HP Printers... this is very sad indeed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Need Port For Jump Drive

Paper tray cover is frustrating to open and close.

I like everything about this copier except the paper cover which is poorly designed and is so frustrating when I want to copy on both sides of a sheet to save storage space and paper. I print my stock report every day and want to print 2 reports on one sheet of paper. The cover is a problem to remove and insert a page that was printed on one side the day before and replace the cover. It is very frustrating.
