I don’t print often, but if my printer is idle for more than a week I have to run the clean print head to get it to print
Not very satisfied with having to go through that just to print
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible product. Does not grab paper from the paper tray or when it does it grabs several. I'm surprised HP puts their name on this thing.

Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer has performed poorly. I can certainly understand why a document feeder that fails to pick up paper or takes too many pages at once would be quite an unwelcome surprise with a new device. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll suggest some resources designed to make that happen.

First, I recommend you follow a guide on our support site to document feeders that pull through too many pages at once or fail to pick up any paper at all. Find that guide here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01728503

If the problem persists, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and determine the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
- hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
- support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Why is it so difficult to get it up and running?

It is complicated to get it connected to all it is suppose to do! Certainly not "plug and play" like my previous HP printers. Still not operating fully yet!

Paper Tray

The paper tray is not good because the guide does not stay when printing 8-1/2 x 11 paper and have to remove all the paper to print a photo.

OfficeJet Pro 8025e - since it's described as "Pro" I believed it was a superior product.

Very unhappy with the OfficeJet Pro 8025e. Tried printing multiple pages on card stock paper which caused jam and swalled all the paper in the tray. I never had an issue with my previous printer (Officejet 6500 plus); it allowed for printing heavier paper. Also the extension output tray is too small.
All the paper in the tray

Hi there.

I’m sorry that your printer has performed poorly for you. I can certainly understand why seeing frequent paper jams when using card stock would be an unwelcome surprise. I want to help you remedy this problem. I hope the resources listed below serve that end.

First, I can’t tell from your review whether the jams occur inside the printer or at the document feeder. If it’s the former, I recommend going through the steps to clearing and avoiding paper jams that you’ll find in this troubleshooting guide on our support site:
- support.hp.com/hr-en/document/ish_2041450-1757203-16

If the jams occur at the feeder, I suggest you follow a guide on our support site to document feeders that pull through too many pages at once or fail to pick up any paper at all. Find that guide here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_3833686-1493864-16

If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
