I had an HP that was 10 years old. Replaced my PC with a Mac and had issues. Researched the new one A LOT and did a Chat to confirm Mac functionality and features. Got this new one and had more problems than with the old. Returned it next day. Even if I hadn’t returned it, I wasn’t thrilled with the flimsy paper drawer and output tray.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my printer about 2 weeks ago. I went to print a Word document yesterday that was one full page long; it printed on 2 pages, the second page had the bottom 1/5 of the original document. I could not figure out how to get it reduced in print font to print on one page as was displayed in Word on my screen. Some help here will be appreciated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this printer for over a month and the printer is of good quality and does all the functions I was looking for. I got the 6 months free ink replenishment by signing up for that feature. Great idea - they monitor the ink level and send you replacement ink cartridges when needed and the cost of ink cartridges is reasonable even at the monthly membership fee. Some areas for improvement: 1. Add internal memory so multiple jobs can occur. I was surprised faxing and printing was as slow as it is. 2. Display is small and you have to be nimble with the fingers to enter commands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is fast and conservative on ink (meaning, highlighters don't smudge it). I chose this model because of the speed, and the document feeder. Seems like a good choice for a new business' "starter" printer.
Four stars because it can be noisy with its clickety-clacking, and takes a while to boot up/shut down. Also, the blue wifi light is very annoying at night (I currently have it in my bedroom), and the auto on/off feature is not as convenient as I had hoped. I was also disappointed that it doesn't have the quick forms that my last HP printer had.
