WONT PRINT IN ALL APPS, FLIMSY PIECE OF CRAP.
SPENT OVER 6 HRS WITH SUPPORT, THEY CAN'T FIX IT EITHER AND JUST
KEEP REINSTALLING AND RESETTING WHICH I CAN DO MYSELF, BUT IT DOESN'T FIX THE PROBLEM AND RESIST GETTING YOU TO A SUPERVISOR AND WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL YOU BACK THEY NEVER DO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this printer about a month ago to replace an older but functioning HP printer. The set-up was not as intuitive as the older model as it came with an installation disk that was a breeze to use. The location of the paper tray is a bit awkward as it is adjacent and below the receiver tray. This printer is considerably faster than my older model and the installation of the printer cartridges is much easier as you can actually see them. It is a bit odd that it requires three separate cartridges to accommodate color printing as opposed a single (less expensive) on the older unit. Over all, I like the newer model and in time, I may get used to the quirks.

My only disappointment is I didn't notice that the scanner is not 2-sided but totally my error in not paying attention on that fact. It loads other weights of paper well (i.e., cardstock, labels). I've not found that it's an ink hog and I've been happy with the print quality.

Its not heavy in weight and I love the customer service reps help when ever I have a problem with printing or installing questions. A company is only as good as its customer service reps and equipment they're selling. Love them both. Also love the HP ink program. I don't have to go to the store and try to find my ink. It's automatically sent to me when my internet hook up is getting low. I talk about it to my friends whenever I can. Love you HP
