Frustration

I purchased this model since I have this printer for home use and love it. However, I didnt realize I bought a refurbished model. I cant move forward with set-up because one of the ink cartridges wouldn't snap in. I tried a cartridge from my other printer, and it worked, biut the message on the printer said i needed to use the set-up cartridge. After spending 30 minutes in finding a way to contact someone and then almost an hour on the chat feature where i told her its an issue with the cartridge, she concluded its an issue with the cartridge and she'll send another. Additionally, the front panel doesn’t snap into place easily without some wiggling. I feel frustrated that getting assistance was so challenging.

This printer is horrible. I can’t set it up with the app, the App can find the printer with Bluetooth even though I can see it on my WiFi network. Obviously a common problem after reading many reviews. Looks like I will be sending this back to HP if I can’t get it resolved soon.

I like the printer but not to crazy about the tray after printout. I would prefer a tray that is longer and flat. I print out a lot of files and the paperwork piles up on the lip.

I was able to send a picture from my phone to the printer. That was really cool. The one thing I would say I have a concern about it the paper tray and the out tray. I have gotten into the paper tray several times and I am concerned about the strength of the out tray. Folding it up and pushing it in and then pulling out the paper tray to refill. They don't slide well and over time that could be a problem and cause something to break.

Stop Printing after 2 months

I bought my HP printer about 2 months ago. The print quality was so-so. When I needed it most it stopped printing. I replace all the ink with genuine HP but it still does not print. I am in the process of moving and will put the printer in the garbage. Not worth shipping

I can certainly understand why a printer that stops printing after only two months would be puzzling as well as frustrating, especially considering you had an urgent printing need and the device didn’t work even after you replaced the ink cartridges. If you’ve not yet moved and you still have the printer, I hope the resources I list here will help you get it working to your satisfaction or otherwise resolve the situation.

I can’t tell from your review why your printer stopped working like it should, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it.
