This is the third time I've purchased this basic model. They last about 4-5 years before needing to be replaced, but they are pretty inexpensive, so it is worth it. The quality of the printout is very good, and I like the front control panel.

We are disappointed with the performance of the OFFICEJET PRO 8034e. It replaces another HP printer that we have used for the last 8.5 years and this one just doesn't compare. The paper tray is flimsy, the cover for the paper tray doesn't kick out the paper in an orderly manner and the paper needs to be loaded very carefully so it doesn't crease. The ink cartridges do not install as easily as the old one. Judging by the cheap looking assembly of this product I will be surprised if we get more than a couple of years' service from it.

Noisy. Printer itself is not the quality plastic material that my previous HP Envy was.
