Incredibly easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am beyond impressed at how easy this all-in-one printer was to set up. One power cable from the printer to the wall outlet and voilà!! No network cables, no telephone wire cables, no Ethernet cables, NONE of that! Everything that followed after I powered it on was a few taps on the screen of the printer and a free download from the App Store on my mobile phone- and I was ready to print. Now for the printing quality - it is SUPER FAST and really great quality prints. Overall I am extremely pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought this printer I replaced the OfficeJet Pro 8020. I am a loyal Hewlett Packard owner PC, laptop and printer. The best decision I ever made was buying the OfficeJet Pro 8034e. Better quality printing and copying. The fax machine set was very simple compared to my past printer/fax machines. The ink usage and the HP+ program is exceptional.

It is not unnecessarily bulky and pleasant to look at. Definitely a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when my wife had signed up and was chosen to take part in a campaign for the HP Office Jet Pro 8034e because it meant I would take part in it too. We never had good luck with any printer so I naturally was expecting at least something to go wrong… but Im impressed. Not only is the design so sleek and modern but the fact that it everything is so smooth running is exactly how a printer should be coming from a household that utilizes it a often. Signing up for the instant ink is a such a smart move along with the paper subscription. It really is so convenient! Every part of the experience was so flawless. Thanks HP!

The printer prints color pages in exceptional quality. The speed of the printer is nothing to complain about. The printer can be loud but that isn’t an issue in my home.

It prints very fast, copies and scans. I used to have a different brand of printer and I struggled a lot trying to connect it to my computer or get it to work with my phone. I like this hp printer is that it is compact, it does not take up much space. Perfect for use in school activities, work or personal activities. I love the ink system, every month I get supplies of ink. For 6 continuous months. The most. You save money on supplies. It really is a good option that added hp.

The setup of the HP Officejet Pro 8034e required intuitiveness and problem-solving.
The first thing I noticed was the removal of the unit required putting the box down on its side and then pulling the printer out. Like most consumers, I was initially guided by my own excitement; getting a new, compact, yet full-featured HP Officejet Pro printer. I intuitively started to pull the printer straight up out of the top of the box, then hesitated. I finally noticed the plastic wrapping with blue printing. The blue diagrams guided first-time users to turn the box, then pull the unit out of the box by the Styrofoam as if the machine were resting on a counter, ready for use.
The second thing I noticed was the length of the power cord. Unfortunately, it is a short length, so absent an extension cord or surge protector, the printer could not be used without a fairly close outlet.
The third thing that drew my attention was Step 3 of the Setup Guide. This was a substantial issue that many users could have. It took me several minutes to figure out that in order to access the cartridges installation area, both the automatic feeder and scanner cover must be simultaneously lifted. Lifting the automatic feeder separately locks the scanner lid in place. I could easily see myself forcing the scanner lid up and breaking it absent dually applying a measure of patience.

It has been almost a month since I started using the HP Officejet Pro for my business and graduate school studies. While the speed isn’t exactly fast, it is a competent little performer. I’ve scanned, printed, and copied, using the printer, on a daily basis. What is particularly wonderful about this machine is that while many printers have momentary delays in printing as they converse with various computers, software programs, and websites, no such issues occur with the HP Officejet Pro 8034e. It quickly interprets and then prints flawlessly. This saves time and more importantly, removes typical printing anxiety. My only real complaint is that the first batch of ink ran out too quickly.
