Nice mid-level printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e is an upgrade for the lower end HP printer I had been using since my remote work employer plans to expand his business into new territories and this will increase my workload immensely.
While my other HP worked, the printing wasn't very fast and it didn't have as many functions.
I love the easy to use pop up screen, and that the paper tray holds more.
Setting Up:
Sadly, I am not an expert at setting up printers and did struggle getting it assembled and working. Thankfully customer support was very helpful. It would be great if this were truly plug and play instead of having to install drivers, download multiple apps, look up trouble shooting ideas, and contact customer service. Loving being able to wirelessly print directly from my phone. I like having the free Instant Ink trial, with my previous printer I limited printing to work related only. It's freeing to be able to print other documents instead of visiting a library to use their equipment.

The printing is fast, readable, and colors are vivid.
Scanning:
Scannning worked seamlessly once I figured out the process, along with downloading the mobile and computer HP Smart apps.
Faxing:
I haven't tested this out yet
Conclusion:
Nice mid-level printer
Takes some time to set up
Not plug and play
Fast printing
Black and white text is readable without eye strain
Color prints are vivid, colors are accurate
Scanning is easy
Nice amount of paper load, can be left in a tray

I also very much like the idea of the HP instant ink program as it helps when it comes time to replace the ink to the printer. Really smart idea by HP.

The setup instructions are very easy to follow. The product is extremely user friendly and is not overly bulky. I like this product and would recommend. I havent used the instant ink yet but I am sure it will come in handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved HP printers, and this this office jet has not let me down. It was super easy to set up straight out of the box. The fax was easy to connect and get up and running. Loading the new printer was as easy as the click of a mouse thanks to HP smart apps. Linking my phone and other smart devices were just as easy. Next came something just as magical as the unboxing, HP instant ink. HP instant ink is the best program. Just link your printer through the instant ink and keep it connected to wifi. The printer will let HP instant ink know when the printer is low on ink and send you what you need. You no longer have to check cartridges or run to the store to pick them up. They're delivered and there prior to you needing them. Essentially, your printer thinks for you. You pay each month based on how many sheets you plan on printing so you choose your plan. This printer comes with a free trial. The quality of print is excellent both color and grayscale. Pages print quickly even if you're printing front and back. I print daily for school and work and have had no issues with copying or printing. Scanning and copying with the auto feeder is the greatest! I have had printers before without that feature and I can't go back now. Overall an excellent printer package. HP has hit a homerun with this office jet. Highly recommend. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

The features are great and I love that the screen is clear and easy to read. I love that it’s compatible with the HP Instant Ink program as well because it’s so very convenient and I’ve never run out of ink! It’s something unique to HP that isn’t offered anywhere else and definitely worth it for both business and family printing needs.
