[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had HP computers for years so it only made sense to get a HP printer. Well, the setup was rather difficult which I was rather surprised and disappointed about. Once I had everything figured out with a little guidance from HP the 8034e was printing like a champ.
I print a lot of coloring sheets for my daughter and this printer would shoot them out quickly. I proof a lot of articles for work, so being able to duplex was very important to me and this HP Office Jet Pro handled everything smoothly and without any hiccups.
So I say 4 stars since I had an issue setting up the printer to my laptop and 5 stars for the great output results from the printer.
I was soo excited when I received my first ink set because I have a big project coming up and I will need to print a lot of docs in color.
The ink program is great until you cancel your subscription. I love it but I hate it at the same time. I love that it takes the thinking out of my daily things to remember like orderi g replacement cartridges. I hate that if you choose to cancel the subscription then the ink received under the program no longer works which I do not think is fair or right.
I'm happy that I was able to receive the printer at a special price for my honest review. This opportunity definitely made me aware of home printing solutions.

The Hp office jet pro came packed well in a clear marketing sense for me as an end user I could tell all its features in a quick glance. So I have a free 1 yr subscriptions to everlasting ink at my disposal yes!!! I can use apps made for my phone or my desktop oh and it android/iOS compatible. Wow options galore in the app and setup was very simple it asked me to print out my test page and scan it on the scannner wala! All setup. Print from anywhere you say! Reloading ink is so simple my 5 yr old can do it. And print quality is hps expertise simple to say I have very much enjoyed my start with the Hp office jet and I can’t wait to continue printing. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback

Great Multifunction Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really loving this printer. I love that it can print double sided pages. The print quality is great. The colors are bold and clear. The scan quality from this printer is also really great. This printer copies well. I love that this printer has the ability to print on different forms of paper/envelopes/labels. The color touch screen on the printer unit is great and functional. I have had no issues connecting to wi-fi. HP Instant Ink has been great so far. It's so convenient for the printer to monitor ink levels and order when ink is low. I like that the paper storage compartment tucks in under the printer and holds a good amount of paper. I have been a longtime fan of HP printers, and this OfficeJet Pro 8034e really delivers. I am happy with this printer and I would recommend it to others. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

No Wires

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally had the chance to set up the printer. The printer itself is heavier than I had imagined. It is not flimsy at all. I set everything up in the kitchen near my laptop. Then moved it to a back room - didn't want it sitting in the kitchen for life. So far so good. The set up was itself was easy and self explanatory. The app it uses was already in my laptop but it took a while for it to set up all of the "features and benefits". So far I am still waiting for that to finish so I have not been able to sign up for the ink yet. Also, after printing an alignment page, the printer wants to scan the page to finish the settings. I tried 4 times and it would not recognize the alignment page so it reverted to the factory defaults. I will see if that is sufficient for my needs before I seek support. I am pleased that I did not have to connect it with wires to link to the laptop to sync it and the app connected it to the wi-fi without having me find the password. The first time my husband had to print something, he was thrilled and did an actual happy dance. I received my first shipment of ink. The ink program is a great bonus. Actually getting free ink for a year is probably the best part of this deal. I received a special deal on this product for providing my feedback.

Excellent printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my printer and set it up, it was easy to setup. Downloaded the 9required apps to my Android phone and installed the printer and printer apps with no problem. It prints from my Android devices with no problems. It lacks the ability to scan documents to my Android devices though. Found an app called mopria scan that allows me to scan the documents to my Android devices. I think the instant ink provides a good value for replacement ink, it is an innovative idea from HP. I received a discount on the product for my review. Besides the not scanning problem when I try to use the instant ink option, it tells me it can not connect to my printer. Printer prints fine and operates perfectly but I have tried resetting the printer as suggested and still dies not work for instant ink. When I load my hp.prifikr it dies not detect that I have a printer. I am using Android 11 on a Motorola Moto one 5g ace if that makes any difference. The smart app works fine on my Samsung Galaxy tab a so I was able to login to instant ink. My tablet I believe is running android 10, so apparently the problem is with 11, 12, and 13 as it died not work on my Google pixel 5a running android 13. Hope this gets fixed in an update.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received my HP OffJet Pro 8034e that comes with a free 6 Month Instant Ink plan. At first i thought it would be a one big job to set it up but to my surprise it was so easy and fairly straightforward to get it done. It has built-in instructions and guides to connect to wifi and I was up and running in less than 30min (including unboxing). I actually connected the printer to my cell phone and my laptop through HP smart app. The printer is relatively quiet. It prints reasonably fast. It’s pretty compact for all its features. The printer is connected to hp smart app that allows you to check printer’s status and ink level. One of my favorite attributes of the printer is touchscreen control display, it is so clear and easy to use, such an improvement over standard buttons. The Bluetooth capability makes communication easy without all the wires and great for printing from multiple sources. Its all rounder printer, you can print, scan and copy. It made my life pretty easy. The print quality itself is good and fast, vibrant colors. Really overall a fantastic printer ! I received this printer at discount in exchange of my honest review

This printer is effortless to set up from the physical to the Bluetooth. I must confess that I am not a fan of directions following, and I am glad I was not forced to follow the directions during the 8034e setup. The physical setup was visually self-explanatory. The connectivity was also straightforward, with the unit guiding me through the process.
The wireless connectivity has functioned flawlessly. I have connected three computers and four phones to the 8034e with zero issues. I use android, while my wife and children use IOS, and both operating systems connected and easily printed. We generally print more from our phones, but the computer test print was also seamless.
The body is constructed with hard plastic and appears pretty sturdy. My only negative would be the loading tray, as it does not seem as sturdy as the rest of the printer.
This printer has a sizeable 35-page auto document feeder and easily does two-sided printing.
The perfectly sized color touchscreen is excellent for helping navigate the different functions and settings. I appreciate that the touchscreen can adjust for viewing in a seated or standing position.
The HP+ Smart app is a very professional look/feel. You can scan from your phone, and the app will crop, flatten, smooth, and allow editing from the palm of your hand. The shortcuts will enable you to scan, attach, file, and send documents. The advanced features will work with applications like Google Drive and Dropbox. Did I mention that you can fax from your phone? I, like most, am doing more with my phone, and mobile faxing is a great feature.
I absolutely love the free instant ink when you sign up for HP+. The instant ink cartridges will ship automatically, so you never run out. You will not run out of ink, and you won't need to run out to get ink when it starts running low, and that makes HP+ a no-brainer for me. The subscription has enough ink to print up to 700 pages monthly for a year - up to 8,400 pages in total.
The functionality and features make this a must-buy if you are looking for a medium-duty all-in-one printer.
