The print quality is not an issue. The problem is that the printer continues to power itself off, even after being in use during the day. This means I have to get up from my desk and walk over to the machine and turn it on manually which can interrupt the work flow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There is a LOT of vertical space eaten up between the paper tray and the scanner bed. This means it will not fit on a shelf easily so it requires desk space. Set-up of the wireless was easy. Set-up of a second computer was less transparent but ended well.
