Good for the price

Pros: Good for the price. Doc feeder. Quality printing. Screen. Lightweight. Cons: Moderate number of paper jams if using the doc feeder.
Likely operator error: Can scan from the printer, but I haven't found a way to scan from my computers (in another room, so it's annoying). There is probably some software I could add to do this, but haven't had time to look.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Review HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e
on January 3, 2022

It is a good little printer, But no where as good as my HP 8600. It doesn't hold as much paper and doesn't copy the same quantity that my 8600 does. It also does not have a media /USB slot which was helpful when you wanted to save a specific document. Printing and copying is good, have not tried photos yet. I looked everywhere on your site and could not find a printer comparable to the HP 8600 so I settled for the *025e.

Difficulty in setting up the wireless access, which is the only reason to have this printer.

Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer was so difficult to set up. The frustration you express is totally understandable considering you endured such a problematic start to owning the device. I can’t tell from your review whether you were able to complete the setup process, but I’ll nonetheless provide some resources aimed at helping you get the device working to your satisfaction.

If you still need to complete setup and installation, you can access a setup tutorial specific to your printer on our support site. Regardless, on the same page as the tutorial, you can find user manuals, how-to documents, software updates and troubleshooting guides. Find those materials here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/37934576

You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including setup and connectivity difficulties as well as cartridge installation and print quality. There you can find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. You can find the page here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

If you need further assistance with setup, connectivity or anything else, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:

I do like the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All in One Printer - you have no connections and it runs off of your wi-fi. It took me some time to figure out how to print pictures but all in all it's a nice printer for the cost.

Two copiers with same problem

This is the second 8025 I have purchased. Same problem with both, colors are not correct at all. Blues look green even with this new machine. I did have to do a cleaning process 5 times with the new one before could use. Lots of ink wasted. The other one I have is around 14 months old and I am just going to throw it away. Cannot get it to do colors right at all.

Hi, Charles.

I’m sorry that you’ve experienced the same color problem with two printers in this series. It’s no surprise that you feel upended, especially considering you had to go through a cleaning process multiple times with the newer one before it worked. I want to help you remedy this issue, so I’ll provide some resources aimed at making that happen.

First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide on our support site to improving print quality, including when color or black ink does not print properly or at all. Find that guide here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06260268

If the color printing does not improve, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. HP+ printers such as yours come with exclusive concierge support. To call and reach live HP+ experts, visit the following URL and enter your HP+ serial number:
- hp.com/plus-help

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies – and that warranty extends to two years with an HP+ account – so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
- support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
