The printer itself is actually very good. The problem I have is being forced to use the HP Print App. I don't like the idea of everything I print and/or scan going through an HP server. I like the old days when you could install the drivers on your computer and use the printer directly. Honestly, I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the app and the constant requests to sign up for the instant ink program.

Setup was not as easy as it could have been but not difficult. The requirement to choose the HP+ needs to have a better description of what HP+ is and does for you and what if any long-term cost there is. There should also be a trial period for this that will allow you to try it and opt out if you don't like it.
