Slowest OfficeJet Pro Printer Ever

I had a previous model OfficeJet pro printer. It printed relatively fast, even on the best setting. This current printer is ridiculously SLOW. I regret purchasing the unit, I even contemplated returning it. I use the double sided printing often and it’s a waste of time for me.
Another thing is, with my previous model, I could add more paper without stopping the printing. With this one, you need to stop the printing to add paper. Such a waste of time. I would NOT recommend this unit.

HP Printer App

I find the quality of the print to be good, however the app to manage the printer and activity is poor. For example the app indicates that the printer status is "Ready", while sending something the print from Windows 10 indicates the printer is "Offline". Attempts to restart documents from Windows fails to result in any output. I find the HP Printer App to be nearly useless in managing the printer, all it seems to provide is the means to generate documents and associate to HP's offerings. My previous HP printer (an 8400 series) allowed management of the printer on the device, without the app association. I found that approach to be better.
